Summary of Global E-business and Collaboration

The business process is all business activities that are carried out logically and this is very influential on the smooth running of the business where if this process goes well then the business benefits as much and can be a strategic source of profit. Most businesses are cross functional. Information systems can help to optimize business processes and redesign their process. Then, collaboration means different industry with same interest, this aim to expand the target market. The systems for collaboration and teamwork so important because collaboration has a common goal with others to achieve strategic business, collaboration becomes very important in business because of globalization. In order for collaboration to work effectively, adults really need organizational culture that is sufficiently supportive as well as information systems and work tools for collaborative work. There are many collaborative tools including e-mail and instant messaging, wikis, video conferencing systems, virtual worlds, social networking systems, cell phones, and Internet collaboration platforms, such as Google Apps / Sites, Microsoft SharePoint, and Lotus Notes.
